"Track Coach" involved a large amount of casting: not only the boy and his coach, but also the other runners, the crowd in the stands, referees, and the people on the sidewalk. Just to be part of the crowd is challenging. They have to cheer over and over again, displaying just as much enthusiasm at the end of the day as they did at the beginning. Usually a crowd only cheers for a couple of hours! The young men running also had to sprint over and over again, and stay just as fired up the tenth time as they were the first. The crowd and actors, however, were a wonderful addition to the spot because they were enthusiastic about promoting the message: that sometimes it takes someone else to see our potential and challenge us to do our best.
