PEACE QUOTATIONS
“When I say it's you I like, I'm talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed.”

Fred Rogers

“I truly believe the only way we can create global peace is through not only educating our minds, but our hearts and our souls.”

Malala Yousafzai

“Peace, like charity, begins at home.”

Franklin D. Roosevelt

“We look forward to the time when the power to love will replace the love of power. Then will our world know the blessing of peace.”

William Gladstone

“Peace is a day-to-day problem, the product of a multitude of events and judgments. Peace is not an ‘is,’ it is a ‘becoming.’”

Haile Selassie

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it. And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it.”

Eleanor Roosevelt

“When we create peace and harmony and balance in our minds, we will find it in our lives. ”

Louise Hay

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”

Buddha

“Choose love and peace will follow. Choose peace and love will follow.”

Mary Helen Doyle

“Until he extends his circle of compassion to include all living things, man will not himself find peace.”

Albert Schweitzer

“It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.”

Agnes M. Pharo

“Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.”

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Having peace in our own lives should be integral to achieving our own true happiness. How can we teach others learn what we haven't taught ourselves?

DC from Florida FEBRUARY 9, 2011
I know these years have been hard and the economy is bad, but if we all work together, I bet the world could be a much better place.

Hey bob, from Germany, I'll pray that you find peace one day too.

julia from PA JANUARY 26, 2011
I think peace is alot more than a lack of physical violence. Peace is a mindsett. Anxiety worry anger fear (the root of all these emotions) leave no room for peace of mind or peace of body. Peace, such a radical mindsett of the 60's seems to be lost today not only in war but in the everyday lives how we conduct ourselves ... we need peace in our souls. in our walk and talk... its deep <3
