Hope has been a core value of mine for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I hated going to high school and living in a small town. Hope was the only thing that got me through my 8 years of middle/high school. When I came to college I thought my life was set, but then I went through an event that changed my life forever. This event left me without hope. I thought my life was over. I was so down and depressed that I thought there was no hope.
Finding hope again was the first step in my treatment. I began to hope again. I hoped that my symptoms would subside, I would find someone special, and have my family back. There have been many ups and downs, but I still have hope. It keeps me going. Hope keeps me alive. There’s a chance that one day things will be okay. Until then all I can do is hope.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
