My Hero

Everyday I am just in bed watching television or listening to music. I never had nothing to do in my life. I never had nothing like homework or nothing. My dad started to get tired of looking at me the whole time in my room. I was trying to find a sport that i would love. My whole enter life i thought that i loved soccer. Not knowing if i should play it or find a different sport. Soundly when i was hearing music Mecklemore song came up and one of his songs came up called “wings”. I just went on YouTube so i could see the video of the song. It evidently talks about basketball and when he got his first pair of new shoes. I just started to think about basketball and i tried to play it.
I told my dad if he could buy me a basketball and he said yes. After when he came back home from work he had a basketball on his hands. He told me that if i really wanted to play i would need to show him. Every time he saw me playing at the park with my cousin. I was went home at night and my mom would get mad but my dad didn't care because he knew that i was playing and not doing nothing wrong.
When i was in 8th grade i hurt my knee. I couldn’t walk or nothing. I was so anger because i couldn’t play basketball and again nothing to do in the house. I felt like my life was over. Not having that freedom or nothing. I felt like i didn’t had a life or nothing. I started getting depressed and i was just always sleeping. The only thing i would do when i was awake was listening to Macklemore. I was never in the mood to do anything else. The only thing that changed my life was the song’s that Macklemore made and some song’s really inspired me.
Every single day in my life when something is going on I just grab my phone and put Macklemore songs so I can feel myself. Almost all of his songs inspire me because he raps about real stuff. I like how he's actually real with his songs not like other rappers from this generation. A lot of people say that reason isn’t one of the reasons why I think he's my hero. In my opinion i say that it is because different people have their reasons. Macklemore means different ways for me. I feel different ways about Macklemore that i can’t explain.
Thats how my whole life changed when I heard Macklemore music. I’ll never forget that special day even though my knee was in pain. I still have pain on my knee. I still have pain on my knee but when i do i grab my phone i put on Macklemore music. Macklemore showed me to not give up on things that you want to achieve. To not give on life and try your hardest to reach your goals. To try on life and try your hardest to reach your goals. Those are all my reasons why Macklemore is my hero.
