friendship NULL

It is Monday morning and like every Monday morning I am not in the mood to be at school, I mean who wants to be at school so early anyways. As I walk in to my first period class, I sit down in my normal sit, I look up at the daily starter, it reads “Students today we will be writing about someone who once had a big difference in your life, it could have been for the good or for the bad. It was then when my best friend came to mind and the time she had that “big difference” in my life.

It was the the 3rd day of Jr High, and my first day at this school. I know it’s weird that I would start school on the 3rd day, but that’s because I was late on registration thanks to my mom. I remember walking through Valley’s halls and thinking “wow these halls are huge”. I also remember going to my classes and just sitting there feeling like I didn’t belong, I think especially because the one close friend I had coming out of elementary was finding her own way through Jr High. As I was making it through my first day, it was finally 4th period, I was glad it was 4th period the last period of the day I told myself.

I walked into the school gym, and I took my first glace at my P.E teacher, one look at her and I thought to myself she does not look like the friendliest person on Earth. As I sat down in the roll call Mrs. Pace had assigned, I looked over my right shoulder and noticed a girl I had not seen before, she must be knew I told myself. I remember staring at her and whispering “she’s pretty”. It was also a free day in P.E and we were able to pick out of soccer, basketball, and jump rope. I remember really just standing there and that is when Irany asked me for my name. I remember starting a convocation with this girl and automatically felt the click.

The next day was a B day, and I had 4 completely new classes. Once again I was not too happy. I suppose my second day was not that bad it honestly went by fast. It came up to my favorite part of the day which was 4th period. I pulled out my schedule and my 4B read CTE. I walked in to my CTE class and the first thing I noticed was the same pretty girl from my P.E class. I thought “Irany she is in this class too’’. Of course I was late, but I nervously walked passed the front of the classroom, thinking “these people are staring at me, don’t look” I decided to sit down next to her. As I sat next to Irany she gave me a big smile.

That is where are outgoing but yet meaningful friendship began. It came to the point where having 2 classes wasn’t enough, she had became my best friend, and we could talk about anything and everything. I will always remember the day in P.E class where we learned almost everything about each other in one single class period. We spent weekends together we could go from watching movies and eating junk food to just sitting outside laughing at silly jokes.

So as I sit in my first period class ready to write about “Someone who was once made a big difference in my life”, It felt like I relived the time my life took a huge turning point, the time that I learned the value of friendship. I knew instantly what I was going to write about for my daily starter. Till this day Irany is my best friend, and of course my hero.
