I wanted to share an incident where I showed being honest.
This happened when I was only in Grade 1. Begun during the first week of school year. Being excited to join former classmates again, we have been naughty in the classroom. Since our adviser was not around, we continued to play. However, due to mischief, hurled my face towel and went into a ceiling fan. Damaged and aroused the attention of other teachers and other students.
I fear that I will be reprimanded by my parents and learn the details from my teacher about the circumstances, I immediately told them the incident at the school.
Due to my being honest, I was not scolded, rather I was given advices not to do the same fault. I immediately apologized and promised to never repeat the same mistake again.
The next day, I talked to my teacher and asked for an apology.
I have learned that we really ought to be true and honest especially if you know you have done wrong.
