One day, I’m at home playing on the Xbox. I then remember how I met my friend Preston.
Back in junior high, my eight grade year, I had just gotten an Xbox 360. Then at school I went to science for my second period class. When I walked in, the class seating was being rearranged.
I went and sat down in my seat next to Preston. Later we started talking to each other. Since I had just gotten an Xbox, I was still looking for friends on my account. I decided to give him my gamer tag (account name) so we could play online together.
When I went home and started playing the Xbox, I saw the friend request from his account. I accepted it and we started playing games. I only hand a few games like Minecraft, halo 3, and other games that came with the Xbox, but it was still fun to play online with him.
A few weeks later he invited me and his friend Hunter to his birthday party at Boondocks. Now we hang out at his house every once in a while. I didn’t really have friends before I met Preston. It’s been helping me become more social and less shy.
Back in the present, I notice Preston gets online. So I send him a game invite and we play halo 4. I then think, “It’s nice to have friends”.
