One of my best heroes is Tayhler Murphy, a person who changed my life, from a shy person, to a social one. <3
When Granger’s first year started, I was completely scared and nervous. When I got inside the school, there were a lot of students at the door screaming saying- “Welcome to Granger High School!” “Hope you have a great year at granger high school!”, and all I did was try to ignore them and just keep walking and thinking, -“What a way to say hello to everyone” While I was looking down at my feet. When I got away from the crowd I looked at my schedule trying to find my first class, While I was walking to my class I find one of my friends from last year, Tayhler murphy, -“Hello” – I said. – “Hey Kirei!”- She responded –“What classes do you have? “– I told her. She showed me her schedule while I showed her mine, after a few seconds passed she told me –“We have math together!”-“really?”-I responded. While she showed me her schedule and mine, I was really happy that at least I got one of my friends in one of my classes. Because here at Granger there are a lot of teachers and there are not a lot of chances you get to stay with your friends.
When it was already time for lunch, I was scared again. I completely had no idea where to go. So I just followed the students were they were going, as I got my lunch and ate alone I found myself with Tayhler. I wasn’t surprised or happy to see her for some reason, but when the bell ringed we walked together while we were going to class. I do not remember very well but one day, when it was an A-day, it was time to go to 3rd class and I forgot that Tayhler was there. When I saw her, I was really happy. We sat next to each other and talked to each other when we started doing some math work that the teacher gave us. When it was time for lunch we hang out together and I realized that Tayhler talked more than last year and she was even funnier than last year, she really made my days.
When 2nd semester started I got new and different classes. One of my other friends, her name is Beatriz had a class same as mine and it was geography in 1-A, we were happy together because of course someone doesn’t like to be alone in a class full of strangers. But later I found myself with Tayhler again and check out our new schedules with Beatriz. And we all realize that all of us had 1-A geography we were so freaking happy, and laughing with each other knowing we won’t be the only ones in that class. One day, all of us meet at Mr.Brocksome’s class. When I saw him and meet him I was thinking-“He looks like a nice guy”- but later he yelled at an annoying student and I realized and thinked-“….im SO…DOOMED!”- but that didn’t stop me from being in that class, I had my favorite friends in that class and even if I fail it, I didn’t care either, I had my friends here with me.

One day in my geography class and math class, Tayhler was absent for almost 1 week and half. I got freaking worried what might had happened to her. Later after school was over I sended her a text message saying- “Tayhler my friend what happened? You were absent for a week and half and that worries me a lot! Are you ok?”- And later she answered me-“My grandfather died, I went to his funeral in Arizona.”- That message shocked me. Can you imagine losing a person that you really care? That message remembered me 2 years when my mom told me that an uncle of mine dies in a really awful accident and when I cried in my math class. So I tried to answer to her message carefully trying not to write something wrong, because if you mess up, you can make that person feeling worse. She texted me-“I will be back at school next week don’t worry  “- And I responded-“Ok! Can’t wait to see you again I really missed you!”- So yea, just waited a half week until she came back. When she came back she sometimes looked more sad or serious, I tried to cheer her up all I could when she looked really sad, and it worked sometimes. I was happy when she was <3.
One day, Tayhler gave me a letter. I was wondering what was in there, later I asked her as I looked at the cover of the small letter-“Did you wrote Baka on it?”- “No”- she responded. –“I remember seen you writing this word before a lot of times Tayhler, don’t lie to me!”- I said –“It doesn’t mean Baka, it might mean cow or something else”- She responded –“Aha…”- I answered. As I open the letter I read her card saying;
To Kirei: I want to Thanks you for being a great friend to me, even if I don’t deserve it. You taught me to be funnier & to trust more people. And I’m sure I helped you to draw better… I Know I did! From: Tayhler Murphy.
And she drew something else really cute in the card… but I realized that her drawing she made as her waving her little hand, and be with a drunk looking face ._. (drooling face) lol. When I finished reading the letter I asked her-“Why do I have a drunk looking face on the letter?”- “Because that’s how I see you lol” She answered… and we laughed together as we saw the drawing that Tayhler drew on the letter. That small letter really made my day and made me happier. I promised that I would keep this letter and put it somewhere safe. When I got to my English class with Ms. A, She told us that we would make a letter for our hero. Later I thought-“Finally! Now it’s my turn to give Tayhler a thank you letter”-I took almost half class to think about what Tayhler did for me. Next day in 1-A Geography class, I See Tayhler almost tardy and give her the letter, after a few seconds of reading it she laughed and said-“Thanks! Love the letter!”- That made me feel happy.
Conclusion: I learned a lot this year, but I learned how to be social too. Thanks to Tayhler I’ve kind of been more social than before. I talk more than before and I’m kind of funnier than before. She changed my life and that’s why I consider her as a hero. She is Pure Awesomeness.

Friends help at any time you have a bad moment. They are always there to help you out and give you good advice. Friends can change your life, and it’s always important to have friends to hang out with, because if you don’t then you may feel really lonely.
