My partner of maybe 2 weeks at the time saved my life. I was in the midst of the worst, most severe asthma attack that I'd ever had. Just as I got into our parking lot all I can remember is feeling like I was going to die, I was so scared. I screamed out in fear "I'm going to die". The next thing I know I'm waking up on a gurney in the emergency room. The man that drove us to the hospital later told me that my partner is the true reason I'm still alive. As I passed out in our driveway, she scooped me up into her arms and proceeded to give CPR. I had completely stopped breathing. She gave me her breath, and it was that breath that kept me alive. I am here, so is she, seven years later. We are married and living life one breath at a time. That is love, giving your own breath to save the one you love.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
