After a long day of hassles and shopping. I was tired, hungry and ready to point my car in the direction of home. It seemed like every time I turned around something was going wrong and I was weary and recalling all my struggles in my own mind as I pushed my basket full of stuff out of the store. I happened to notice this elderly lady looking just as frazzled, if not more so, than I. The parking lot was packed full and very busy. She looked near tears. I asked her if she was okay and she explained she could not find her car and she thought someone had stolen it. Me, I was tired. But I could see the panic in her eyes and I told her let me put my stuff in the trunk and I will help her look. 10 minutes later we found her car parked clear across the parking lot. The look in her eyes was sheer joy. Suddenly my step got a little lighter and the troubles I had been thinking about vanished. The happiness I experienced by helping someone else was priceless!
