I am in school and I am 11. In our school there are handicap kids. All of the other kids sometimes make fun of them and laugh. So there was a little boy he was slow and no one talked to him. So I sat with him at lunch one day and played with him at recess. Other kids were making fun of me and laughing at me but I didn't care and ignored them.
When it was time to go in the classroom I felt happy and I know he did too. He said "Thanks for being my friend." You know what I found out? He is just like me or any other kid in school. He is my friend and I talk to him all the time and I don't care what the other kids say about me. I like who I am and I like and appreciate others for who they are.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
