My leadership class is a perfect example is times that I’ve had to be patient. I had to plan powder puff this year and it was really stressful on me. I had to make the final decisions for our t-shirts and I had to make sure I was on top of things or else powder puff would turn into a disaster! I started getting frustrated at people and at myself when I couldn’t get things done. I realized that I needed to stay calm and be patient in order to get things done. So, that’s what I did. I tried not to let the little things stress me and I worked harder to get it done. It took more time out of my day, but in the end it benefitted me. Powder puff turned out to be a success and I grew as a person and learned to be patient!

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
