James Scruggs

My dad came into our lives when I was 6 years old. Thanks to him, I was able to live through a very rare type of brain cancer. I was always told that I wouldn't be able to work and couldn't have children. They said I only had 4 months to live when I was 17 years old. Because of my dad's encouragement and love, I had the bravery and persistence to push forward and go after everything I have ever dreamed of. Today, I have my college degree, the job of my dreams, an amazing husband, five fabulous children, a granddaughter, and a house. Most of all, I have life and one that I am grateful for everyday. This is all because of my Daddy.
