John Paizis is the founder and director of PASW - a performing arts program for adults with disabilities. He has dedicated his life and the past 30+ years to providing career opportunities for the disabled. He's never once asked for recognition of his accomplishments, but I am here to call him a champion. This year, we are proud to celebrate several of our students for achieving an Emmy award in an A&E documentary, as well as the casting of several of our students in numerous international films in recent years. John Paizis has developed a vocational training program that includes three classes, five days a week. We are state-funded and non-profit affiliated. If it weren't for the support of our community, we would never be able to achieve such great accomplishments. I think it's time we recognize John for the work he's done!
I urge you to take a look at a video we've produced for a red-carpet event (going on tonight). It highlights our program and our founder.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
