My Aunt Therese is a cancer survivor and an incredible support to me. I have mental health issues, and although it is sometimes difficult to be nice to me lol she has always stood by my side and loves me anyways; taking me to lunch spending time with me, buying me gifts of inspiration and books around cats that are my passion etc. She is active in her church in spite of being restricted by oxygen dependency after her cancer treatment. She is a devoted mother and grandmother and still works with adults and children with cognitive impairments in the community as a personal support worker that she did at the school board before she was unable to work anymore because of her illness. she teaches us to never give up and to do all we can with whatever limitations we might have. I love my Aunt Therese, and thank God for her everyday.
