My hero is my dad. He travels all over the USA.
He served in the Navy for 2 years and earned three medals.
I miss him when he leaves for work. He is gone for 3-4 days.
He had his appendix removed because he got food poisoning.
I was not able to hug him for 2 weeks, he was very pale when he got back home. He is better now, I am glad I could say I love him when he had food poisoning. He is now going to work. He gets up at 3:00 in the morning. I miss him when he goes to work. That is my hero.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
