My hero is my dad. I'm only 19 years old, he's 64 with stage 3 lung cancer. He was never a smoker, and I wish this hadn't happened to him. I'm so worried he won't make it through. He's my hero because he's a fighter. He doesn't stand down from anything. He was in the army, and survived that, married my mom, and had 4 daughters. I'm the baby. There's still so much I want him to be around for.
I love you, Daddy.

We've all had people in our lives who have made a positive impact on us. A parent or grandparent, a sibling who was there for us, or maybe even just a guy who shines shoes for a living? Whoever they are, tell us their story so they can inspire us even more.
