I am a student in 6th grade. My S.S. teachers name is Mrs. Hoefling. She is my hero because she is like my second mom. If I need anything, which I sometimes do, I always turn to her. She also knows how to be a little disciplinary at times too. That is always a good thing to have. I am just happy I have Mrs. H. to have and I hope I always will. (Until I go to high school of course.)

Thanks for sharing this nice story....every act of kindness no matter how small, can make a huge positive impact on someone life. Helping others is not a complicated thing, it can be a simple smile, advise or just listening to someone. This is all that takes to give hope, guidance and support needed.
Just imagine if everyone volunteers to help someone more often ...don't you think that so many problems will be solved.
Every act of kindness that one do, give pleasure and make the world a better place.

Really a wonderful short story....I liked last line the most "just assure someone that they are not alone in the world is a powerful experience". Sometimes we fell apart, life hits us very hard that too without any reason. At that time we always feel that we are alone in this world. But the gesture you showed reminds us that whether we know any one or not, We are not alone in this world. Some will definitely come and give you his helping hand. Wonderful experience :)

I absolutely loved your gesture. Most of us are so busy running around in our lives that we forget to stop by, breathe, notice and smile. Hope people read through and be inspired to at least stop by.. notice and offer help to someone who is in need around. Lovely gesture !!!
