ROCKETMOM - GOT OXYGEN?
She always wanted to be a good mom, make a difference locally and see the world. When she REACHED END STAGE LUNG DISEASE IN JUST SIX MONTHS at only 37 she became determined to still be a great mom, make a difference and see the world. SHE HAS. SHE'S BEEN RAISING HER FAMILY, DONATING HUNDREDS OF HOURS AND DOLLARS TO THE LOCAL SCHOOL, TRAVELING THE WORLD, HIKING AND SNORKELING (ALL WHILE ON 8 LITERS OF O2). AND WHILE WAITING TO LOSE JUST A FEW MORE LUNG CAPACITY POINTS TO BE LISTED FOR A LUNG TRANSPLANT. NOW ONLY AT 24% LUNG CAPACITY SHE GETS READY TO BE LISTED AND TO FULFILL HER PTA BOARD POSITION BY HONORING THE SCHOOL'S TEACHERS. SHE IS RECOGNIZABLE AROUND TOWN AND HAS BECOME A LITTLE BIT OF A LOCAL INSPIRATIONAL CHARACTER IN HER SMALL TOWN, LAYTON, UTAH.
