John was the CEO of the Big Fresno Fair for 17 years with annual attendance of 600,000 people. He transformed the dull, army camp type of fairgrounds into an appealing venue second to none. Additionally, he stressed the importance of education through various events and rewards for excellence. He retired from the fair and is now the CEO of the fair's 501(c)3 foundation and concentrates on fundraising to assure the facilities are maintained to his high standards.
