My husband and I traveled all around the US for several years in our Class A motor home. We were trying to decide if we still wanted to travel or sell it when we found out my husband had terminal cancer and died a short time later. I had never driven the motor-home myself and did not want to travel by myself anyway, so I had a decision to make, how I was going to market it for sale. Gas prices were now extremely high and I was well aware there were not going to be people knocking my door down wanting to buy it. It was stored on my sister-in-laws property as we could not keep it where we were living. Before I decided how to market it for sale, along came "Hurricane Charley." This hurricane had a lot of tornadoes in it, one got my motor-home, destroying it as well as taking the roof off my sister-in-laws home. I immediately contacted my insurance company, found I had excellent insurance, was paid what I considered to be an excellent price for it as well as hauling it off. I probably would not have been able to sell it for much more than half what the insurance paid me and didn't have the hassle of trying to sell it. I considered my self "Blessed."
